When I wanted to write my rendition of a classic fairy tale, I turned to the Grimm Brothers. Just the other day, I stumbled across another potential source at https://www.aesopfables.com!

There are 638 fables all indexed in a table plus they are fairy tales too! It makes it easy to look up the different ones.

You might be asking why you would want such a reference. Let’s say you want to write a modern twist on Rapunzel, but you’ve never read the story. Need a better example? What if you want to write a different version of a little known tale? Sure you could go online and research, but that could take hours or days or months. With this handy dandy table, you could easily see all of them in one place.
